Before the World Series of Poker Europe started there was a large debate on whether or not the European bracelets should count or have the same value as the WSOP Las Vegas bracelets. There was a vote on 2+2 where 48% of posters felt that it does have equal value and 52% believed that it does not have equal value.
It’s more clear now that there is absolutely no way the European bracelets should have equal value because a woman has won the main event. Minutes ago Annette “Annette_15” Obrestad, an 18 year old from Norway was crowned champ and presented her fake WSOPE bracelet.
In over 30 years of WSOP history, no woman has even came close to a potential victory in the main events. Now fast forward to the first ever European version of the World Series of Poker. An online woman tournament player puts out a dominating performance and wins the Main Event.
Even though she had to beat out hundreds of players, which was one of the toughest fields in tournament history does not give her any reason to cry after her set of 7’s beat bottom 2 pair. Which eliminated John Tabatabai for a second place finish. Annette won £1,000,000 and a tainted WSOPE bracelet.
