Shannon has been getting a lot of recognition for her great poker play as of late. Last year she did extremely well in NBC's National Heads Up Tournament, where she made it to the final four before losing to Paul Wasicka who went on to win the whole event. Shannon has won a few tournaments such as the 2005 Nicky Hilton New Years Eve Poker Tournament at Ceasers Palace and placed 6th in CK Charity Poker Tourny. Shannon has also had some solid appearances in the World Series of Poker events in 2006.
